Shoden – System of Reiki Level One
Shoden Reiki 1 is suitable for anyone. It does not matter whether you are completely new to Reiki, or have been practising Western Style Reiki for years and wish to deepen your practice and understanding of Reiki by learning the traditional Japanese practices.
This course is completed over two days.
By the end of the course you will have covered the five main elements to Japanese Reiki:-
1. Japanese energy meditations to strengthen and clear your energy
2. Reiki precepts to deepen your spiritual connection
3. A better understanding of internal and external energy
4. Ability to use Reiki on yourself and others
5. Experience 4 attunements / Reiju
Your two days will be filled with practical exercises giving you the opportunity to really experience and work with this amazing energy. Full hands on treatments for self and others will be given and received.
On the day you will receive an excellent course manual written by Frans & Bronwen Steine of the International House of Reiki.
On the day
Please arrive ready to start at 9.30am. The second day will begin at 9.30am. Drinks and snacks will be provided during the day, however do ask that you bring some lunch with you. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know at the time of booking.
Please wear clothes that you will comfortable in (even duvet day clothes and slippers if you wish). Layers are good as it is common to become very warm during the practical exercises and cool following treatments and attunements.
How to book
Simply click on the ‘Register’ button. This will take you to an online booking form and will ask you for the information required for your Reiki day. Pay your deposit online and then the remaining balance paid on the day by card or cash.
Reiki Style & Lineage
This two day course is based on the traditional Japanese form of Reiki and the teachings of Usui Reiki Ryoho.
Certification
A daily routine of self healing and keeping a Reiki journal for 21 days. Three excerpts from your Reiki journal will be required for completion of this course..
