Enso Academy
About Simon Bailey
Simon Bailey is the lead trainer at the Enso Academy, and his background in holistic treatment and spiritualism has given him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field.
Simon’s passion for helping people to find their inner happiness, and live a life filled with love, creativity and joy has seen him dedicate his professional and personal life to these teachings.
The system of Reiki that we teach at the Enso Academy follows the teachings of Usui Reiki Ryoho – meaning Usui Spiritual Healing.
Reiki is a teaching which relies on the method being passed through a defined lineage – and our own lineage can be traced to Usui Reiki Ryoho directly, as seen below:
- Usui Mikao – founder of the system
- Kanichi Taketomi – 3rd President of Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai
- Koyama Kimiko – 6th President of Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai
- Doi Hiroshi – current member of the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai
- Frans Stiene – founder of the International House of Reiki
- Simon Bailey – founder of Enso Academy
Lineages of Simon Bailey
Simon Bailey first studied Western Reiki with three renowned Reiki Master Teachers; Chris Burgess, Carole Jones and Linda Douglas.
This initial experience of Reiki inspired Simon to continue developing into the deeper, esoteric aspects of Energy and Reiki. Simon continues his study with Frans Stiene of the International House of Reiki, and is now a Graduate teacher of the International House of Reiki.
Simon has also trained to Shihan (teacher) level with Hyakuten Inamoto in Komyo Reiki Kai, and has achieved Gokui Kaiden (Highest level) in Gendai Reiki Ho by Hiroshi Doi.
Simon continues to deepen his knowledge with ongoing one-to-one teaching with Frans Stiene.

Working with a Mentor
As proven by Simon’s own experience, the support and guidance of a mentor develops the connection to the Reiki energy, develops your ability to use Reiki to benefit yourself and others, and can enable you to work professionally as a Reiki Master, if you choose to do so.
Ongoing relationships with a mentor mean that your development continues indefinitely, and the traceable lineage of Reiki ensures the proper teachings, understanding and methodology, protecting you and the people that you treat.
